The four basic groups of animals, food, clothes and transport can be subdivided into five sub-categories: animals into wild, ocean, farm, pets and insects.
Ten categories represent common places where everyday objects are found: handbag, school bag, tool box, bedroom, bathroom, medicine box, jewellery box, garden, living room and kitchen.
Cards representing the use or function of a variety of everyday objects include reading, playing, writing or drawing, carrying, telling the time, eating, drinking, cutting, cleaning and cooking.
